Nichola

Nichola is a trainee counsellor who believes in the power of relationships to create meaningful change. She is passionate about making sure every person she works with feels seen, heard, valued and supported. Nichola is a warm and compassionate person who focuses on creating a safe and non-judgemental space where clients feel able to explore their own thoughts and often difficult emotions. She views herself as a passenger alongside her clients as they journey towards growth and healing.

Nichola finds inspiration in Carl Jung's words: "Who looks outside, dreams; who looks inside, awakes”. She uses this philosophy to help clients look inward and encourage them to connect with their emotions and discover their, sometimes hidden, inner strengths. Nichola provides a commitment to helping people overcome challenges and build resilience, reinstating the belief that the counselling relationship is at the heart of healing and self-discovery.

Nichola is a student member of the BACP and is studying at CPTA in Brighton as an integrative counsellor, drawing mainly from person-centred and psychodynamic theories. However, she is always guided by the unique needs of each client.
